Large tanks with finite elements design
The tapered bottom tanks manufactured by Maffei are designed using the Finite Elements Technique, which allows assessment of the criticalities of the individual points of the tank and therefore allows their perfect sealing which is adequate for the design use. Examples of design follow highlighting various criticalities found and resolved.
